This bottle has been on quite the journey!
WhistlePig sent oak barrels (previously containing their Rye Whiskey) all the way to our Australian distillery. We filled them with Mr Black and aged our coffee liqueur for 9 months before bottling them up and sending them back across the seas.
Something truly magical happens when rye is mixed with coffee. It’s like two puzzle pieces that fit together perfectly. It just works.
The rich spice of WhistlePig Rye Whiskey pairs astonishingly well with Mr Black. They’re like long lost siblings, raised in different countries but united once again.
